
Science: Being a STEM Ambassador allows Audrey to connect with her community and share her love for science with kids. Audrey wants to be an oceanographer and has contributed to our programming on marine life. She loves facilitating our sea otter project, which she designed! Audrey plays club soccer and is excited to be playing for her high school team this year. Audrey is proud to have completed over 75 hours of STEM related outreach in a single year earning her a Silver Presidential Service Award! She is currently working towards her Congressional Award.

Science: Charly was interested in joining our STEM Ambassador team because she loves to serve her community, especially while working with kids! Science is her favorite letter of STEM because Charly enjoys experimenting and learning how things work. Charly plans to become a doctor and knows STEM is critical in this field. Charly plays soccer and tennis and also enjoys spending time with friends in her free time. Charly has earned a Bronze and Silver Girl Scout Award, both STEM related!

Math: Clara excels in math and loves being a STEM Ambassador because she gets to help kids understand math through problem-solving and critical thinking in solving fun programming! Clara loves seeing kids light up when she shows them all the ways math can be fun. Clara is a hands-on learner and wants to make sure kids have hands-on opportunities in STEM. An achievement Clara is really proud of is getting her Silver Presidential Service Award for STEM related outreach and her Girl Scout Bronze Award in the same year.
Math: Darsh's favorite thing about being a STEM Ambassador is helping kids with math. As a successful math student Darsh wants to show kids different ways to apply mathematical concepts. He loves our marble roller coaster project - teaching about gravity and angles - in a fun way. Darsh is passionate about golf and was recently named the Ventura County Junior Golf Association's Player of the Year for 2025!

Science: Gracyn loves being a STEM Ambassador because she gets to share her love of science with kids. She really enjoys learning from the scientists at STEMs Grow. They help her expand her scientific knowledge and in return it deepens what she can bring to kids through outreach. She is most interested in space and loves our nebula in a jar project which she designed! Gracyn is proud of having been a part of her school's winning Superquiz team in both elementary and middle school, most recently achieving the highest score in the city-wide competition on her individual test. Gracyn has earned a Bronze and Silver Girl Scout Award, both STEM related! She also completed over 300 hours of STEM related outreach the previous two years earning her two Gold Presidential Service Awards. She is currently working towards her Congressional Award.

Science: Hazel's favorite thing about being a STEM Ambassador is designing STEM projects that are engaging for kids. She loves to show kids how STEM concepts contribute to other disciplines and teach kids how important a background in STEM is. She designed a lesson kids love on the pgymy mammoth. Hazel wrestles for her high school team and has earned a Bronze and Silver Girl Scout Award, both STEM related! Hazel also earned a Bronze Presidential Service Award for completing over 50 hours of STEM related outreach in one year!

Science: Jacob's favorite thing about being a STEM Ambassador is having fun with the kids and building STEM concepts into play! Jacob's enthusiasm for STEM is contagious and we always turn to him to lead STEM games and large group projects! Jacob is proud of having been on his school's Superquiz team twice (he won first in individual and team competitions both times). He was most proud of his team's bond and ability to work hard and support each other. Jacob has earned Silver and Bronze Presidential Service Awards to honor him for all of the time he has spent providing STEM related outreach over the past two years!

Technology: Jacob enjoys tech and loves opportunities as a STEM Ambassador to expose kids to the impact technology has on other disciplines. Jacob sees technology everywhere and wants to show kids how being well versed in tech will help them no matter what they pursue in the future! Jacob loves sports and teaching kids about the role technology plays in the lives of atheletes. He plays football and tennis and is most proud of having made the varsity tennis team at his high school his freshman year!

Engineering: Kori sees being a STEM Ambassador as an opportunity to help in her community and support kids in exploring STEM so they will have a better sense of what they want to do in the future! Kori loves engineering because she likes to design projects and plans to be an architect or interior designer. When not working with STEMs Grow Kori enjoys swimming, baking, spending time with friends, and horseback riding. Kori worked at a horse camp and appreciates that her experience around horses allowed her to be confident in helping the campers and led them to trust what she was teaching them. An experience she brings to her work with STEMs Grow.

Engineering: Parker's favorite thing about being a STEM Ambassador is collaborating with our team to create STEM lessons that are fun for kids! She loves to engage them in lessons she helped design. Her favorite STEMs Grow project is creating STEMers and teaching about STEM careers. Parker created the STEMer Project and loves adapting it for different groups of kids. Parker plans to go into engineering. When not volunteering with STEMs Grow Parker is dancing and is proud to be a teaching assistant at her dance studio, another opportunity to share what she loves with kids! Parker has earned a Bronze Girl Scout Award for STEM outreach and two Gold Presidential Service Awards in recognition of the 100+ hours of STEM outreach she completed each of the previous two years!

Technology: Penelope is excited to join our STEM Ambassador team because she like to give back to the community and to bring STEM to kids through fun activities. She specifically loves technology because she knows having skills in this area will be valuable in most career paths! Penelope plays water polo and loves to sew. She is proud of making her high school’s junior varsity water polo team and of being a STEM Ambassador as these are accomplishments that reflect her passions.

Science: Reyansh’s favorite letter of STEM is S for Science because it explains how the world works! After volunteering with STEMs Grow Reyansh was motivated to apply to be a STEM Ambassador because the work with our team gives him a chance to make kids smile as they learn how the world works through our activities. Communication in working with kids is most important to Reyansh as he feels that how things are communicated can make the difference between kids just following along with the directions and actually opening up and having fun while learning! He enjoys playing basketball and hanging out with his friends and is proud to have been accepted to his high school’s RC Makes program!

Math: Math is Vance's favorite subject in school because he likes solving hard equations. As a STEM Ambassador Vance loves to help kids learn different ways to solve problems and to break them down and realize they aren't as challenging as they seem. Vance plans on being an engineer and emphasizes how important it is to test things and make changes accordingly in this field. He loves helping kids with all of our engineering challenges and helps them to test and correct to find success! Vance enjoys being a part of his high schools wrestling team. Vance is the proud recipient of a Bronze Presidential Service Award for completing over 50 hours of STEM related outreach in a single year!
