Apply for our STEM Ambassador Program

Our youth ambassadors are honing their leadership skills, communication skills, and problem-solving skills. Through this opportunity they develop confidence, empathy, have a sense of purpose, and are building career readiness. 

The community benefits as this program bridges gaps between different age groups, strengthens community bonds, creates a sense of social responsibility, and instills an increased level of engagement for all involved!

STEM Ambassadors go through a rigorous application and interview process. Prior to applying, those considering the role should have significant experience providing STEM specific outreach. All STEM Ambassadors need to have dedicated at least a week of their summer to taking on leadership roles at our partner camp, Creative Arts Workshop. All should have volunteered at numerous outreach events with STEMs Grow before applying.  

Most STEM Ambassadors earned Presidential Service Awards or comparable service awards, specific to STEM work, demonstrating their time and commitment, prior to applying.
